If you’re a member of this cult, there are discounts and perks especially for you at Aulani. Might as well take advantage of them to make your trip extra special!
There are more benefits than I have listed here, but let’s take a look at 10 Membership Extras at Aulani for Disney Vacation Club Members.
1. Free Parking
Renting a car for your trip? Aulani has self-parking and valet services for $37 a day. DVC Members, you can take advantage of self-parking for free for up to 2 vehicles for the length of your trip!
2. Dedicated Check-In Area
Once you arrive at Aulani, you probably can’t wait to go exploring. Long line at the check-in desk? Not to worry. There is a dedicated check-in line especially for DVC Members. In all the excitement, don’t forget to show your membership card!
3. Disney Vacation Club Member Celebration
Gather your family and join other DVC Members in this complimentary event. Enjoy refreshments, play trivia games, and learn about the design and cultural features of Aulani. You’ll hear about the latest Disney Vacation Club news and Add-on offers. If you have any questions, ask any Disney Vacation Club Guides available at the event.
To confirm your spot, go to the Disney Vacation Club Preview Center. This event is usually held on Mondays at 8 AM. You’ll want to arrive 15 minutes early to check in.
4. Exclusive Line for Pool Wristbands

DVC Members, there is a special line for you to get your pool wristbands! Go to the Kawele Korner Elua near the pool deck by Ka Maka Grotto from 8 to 9 AM and get your special sparkly wristband.
You’ll need a wristband for each day of your trip to access the pools. Show the Cast Member your room key card to receive your wristband as well as request towels. You can also ask for life vests for your kids if they need them.
The cool thing to do with your wristbands? Collect them all on your wrist for the length of your trip. Just don’t get “wristband tan”!
5. Character Meet & Greet
DVC Members can meet Disney characters at the Luana Lounge. Get 1 free photo session with a PhotoPass Photographer to capture this special moment!
Character Meet & Greets are usually held on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Show an ID and your Membership Card or valid room key and wristband when checking in.
Since character availability varies, you can call the Toon Finder Character Line at extension 2447 (CHIP) after 8 AM to see who’ll be making appearances.
6. Extended Hours for Menehune Adventure Trail

The Menehune Adventure Trail is a fun, interactive scavenger hunt. To play, go to the Pau Hana room and show your Disney Vacation Club Membership to borrow a special tablet. This tablet plays interactive videos where Aunty gives you clues and sends you on a mission to find scenery that magically comes to life. A must-do for kids!
There are 2 trails. Regular operating hours to play The Maka’ala Trail are from 10 AM to 7 PM daily. DVC Members can enjoy extended hours from 9 AM to 8 PM. Waikolohe Valley Trail’s regular operating hours is from 3 PM to 7 PM daily. DVC Members can enjoy extended hours from 3 to 7 PM.
7. Discount on Ukulele Purchase (Plus a Freebie!)
Want to learn how to play the ukulele? Sign up for a 45-minute class and learn how to play a few chords from a talented Cast Member.
Purchase an adult size or kid size ukulele at 10% off and also receive a free set of replacement strings! Just show your Membership card to receive the discount.
Ukulele lessons are held in the Pau Hana Room. Check the Daily ‘Iwa for schedule of dates and times for classes and other activities.
8. Discount at Gift Shops
If you love shopping, you’ll love the 10% off Disney merchandise at Kalepa’s Store, Hale Manu, and Lava Shack!
Purchase souvenirs and gifts exclusive to Aulani or bring home a little bit of Hawaii with unique goods as a remembrance of your vacation.
Tip: Purchase a refillable resort mug and get unlimited drinks throughout your stay such as soda, tea, and coffee. Refill your mug at mug stations located at Lava Shack, One Paddle Two Paddle, and Ulu Cafe. These mugs do not have the RFID chip like the ones sold at Walt Disney World, so you may bring them back on your next trip!
Discount excludes certain purchases, so check with a Cast Member to see if it can be applied.
9. Free DVD Rentals
In the Pau Hana Room are shelves with a vast amount of Disney DVD’s that you can borrow and watch in your room at no extra charge. Great for rainy days when jumping into the pool isn’t an option or just make it a family night every night of your stay as you wind down before bed.
10. Members Only Tour
Maka’ika’i: Art & Nature Tour is a complimentary guided walking tour around the resort where you learn about the beauty of Hawaii’s nature and wildlife. You’ll also explore a collection of native Hawaiian art.
To book a tour, go to Pau Hana Community Hall to make a reservation. This tour is 45 minutes long and operates daily.
