Welcome to Ears In Paradise, a blog dedicated to everything about Disney’s Aulani Resort.

I am a stay-at-home mom and we have 3 kids. We are kama’aina, meaning we are residents of Hawaii, and our ohana (family) live minutes away from Aulani.

I love Disneyland! I had been there several times growing up when I lived in California. Then my dad retired from the military and moved us back here to Oahu where I was born.

I wanted my kids to experience the same magic I enjoyed, so we took our kids to their first trip to Disneyland. They had a blast! It was also our first family trip ever. We can’t wait to plan our next trip!

Although Aulani is a resort and not a Disney theme park, (sometimes I wish it was!) it is still a place where our family enjoys yearly staycations.

There is always something I wish I had known when staying at Aulani. Each time we go, I learn something new that can help me prepare for future staycations.

I know a lot of other people are also looking for tips when they plan their vacation to Oahu. I created Ears In Paradise to provide helpful information and advice to Disney fans (or future Disney fans) looking to visit Aulani.

If you’ve never been to Aulani before, let alone an island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, we’ll do our best to provide you with information and tips on the resort and places of interest around Oahu so that you can be well-prepared for your trip in paradise!

Please check back as I continue to build and add content to this website.

Mahalo, (thank you), for visiting our website! Feel free to contact us if you have any questions or suggestions.
